# CommonYard for churches, mosques and faith groups

A faith yard is a yard made for a church, a mosque, a fellowship or any faith group. It has everything every yard has — its own posts, chat, events and the people who run it — and three things only faith yards have, behind the **FAITH** door on the bar inside the yard.

## Only in a faith yard

- **The devotional** — the yard’s word for the day.
- **The prayer wall** — the yard’s prayer requests in one place, and a way to ask for prayer.
- **This week** — when the services and meetings are.

## For the people who lead

- **The notice** sits at the top of the yard for everyone to see. Change it any time.
- **Announce to the yard** sends one post to every member, once a day.
- **Events** with what, where and when. Members say they’re coming, and they get a reminder an hour before it starts.
- **Admins and mods** to share the work, and the tools to take down a post that doesn’t belong.

## For everyone in the yard

- A chat room with words, photos, videos and voice notes.
- Polls with a closing time — for a date, a choice of songs, a vote on the outing.
- Posts that stay in the yard: a post made in a yard stays there. Make the yard private and only its members can read it.

## Who gets in

Let in anyone with the link, only the people an admin approves, or nobody new for now. When someone asks to join, admins get a notification.

## Make your faith yard

1. On HOME, tap **Find a yard** beside your yards, then **Can't find yours?** at the bottom of that page.
2. Under **STARTING SHAPE**, pick **FAITH**.
3. Name it, say what brings everyone together, and choose **Public** or **Private**.
4. Tap **Create a yard**, then share its link with your members.
