# Log out, or delete your account

> Log out from Settings at the bottom of your account page. Deleting your account removes it and its data for good — CommonYard asks you first.

## Log out

1. Tap **YOU** on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the gear at the top right for **Settings**.
3. Scroll down and tap **Log out**.

You land back on CommonYard's front page. Sign in again the way you joined — the same Google account, Apple ID or phone number — and everything is where you left it.

## Delete your account

1. Tap **YOU**, then the gear for **Settings**.
2. Scroll down and tap **Delete account**.
3. CommonYard asks: **Delete your account?** Tap **Delete** to go ahead, or **Cancel**.

Deleting your account removes it and the data that goes with it, permanently. It can't be undone.
