# Take a side

> An opinion post asks where you stand — on a hot take, a confession, a prediction or a debate. Tap your side, then see how everyone split.

An opinion post is something people take sides on. It comes in different forms — a hot take, a confession, a question, a prediction, a story, a debate — and each has three sides to pick from, worded to fit: **Agree**, **Not sure** and **Disagree** on a hot take, **Same**, **No judgement** and **Not me** on a confession, **For**, **Undecided** and **Against** on a debate.

## Steps

1. Read the post. The top of the card says what it is and how many have taken a side.
2. Tap your side.
3. The sides fill in to show how the Yard split.

## Anonymous posts

Some opinions are posted anonymously. They show **Anonymous** and a mask instead of a name and photo. You take a side the same way; nobody can see who posted it.

## Good to know

- There is no wrong side. "Not sure" is an answer too.
