# Chats are now called benches

> The place where you talk in a yard is now called a bench. The bar at the bottom reads HOME, BENCHES, GAMES and PROFILE. Nothing else about talking has changed.

Every yard has a place where members sit and talk. It used to be called the chat. It is now the yard's **bench**.

## What's new

- The bar at the bottom now reads **HOME · BENCHES · GAMES · PROFILE**. **BENCHES** is the speech bubble, and **PROFILE** is your picture (it used to say YOU).
- Tap **BENCHES** to see where you talk: **Yard benches** for your yards, and **Private** for one to one.
- Inside a yard, its bench is called **Yard bench**, and words like **Search this bench** and **With this bench** (for making a game) follow.
- If you're not in any yard yet, HOME now opens straight on CommonYard's posts.

Your messages, your yards and how everything works are the same. Only the name changed.
