Starting today, CommonYard has a public home on the web for two things: **guides** and **news**.

## Guides

The [guides](/guides/) are short how-tos, each one saying where to tap and what happens next. There are guides for getting started, voting, signing a petition, making a post, making and running a yard, playing games, points and streaks, and staying safe. More will come as the app grows.

## News

This page is where announcements live — what is new in the app, what changed, and why. Newest first. If you use a news reader, follow the [news feed](/news/feed.xml).

## Readable by anyone, and by AI

Everything here is plain text on plain pages, so it loads quickly on any phone and can be read by search engines and by AI assistants. If you ask an assistant how something on CommonYard works, these pages are where it can find the answer. For assistants, there is a short guide at [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) and everything in one file at [/llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt).
