Put CommonYard on your home screen
Add CommonYard to your phone's home screen so it has its own icon and opens full screen, like an app.

CommonYard is a web app. Adding it to your home screen gives it its own icon and opens it full screen, without the browser’s address bar.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open commonyard.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app (the wording depends on your phone).
- Tap Add or Install. The CommonYard icon appears on your home screen.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open commonyard.app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.

Turn on notifications
Say yes when CommonYard asks after you join a yard, then choose what you hear about — replies, yards, games, points — and keep the nights quiet.
Search CommonYard
Find posts, polls, petitions, games and yards by name, topic or creator. Results show their pictures, and you don't need the exact words.
