Your profile and interests

Tap YOU for your profile — your photo and username, your posts, yards and points, your streak and level, what you saved, your people, what you made, and the interests that steer what reaches you.

Updated

Tap YOU — your picture on the bar at the bottom of the screen — to open your profile. Settings are behind the gear at the top right.

What’s on it

  • Your photo and your username in the middle. Tap the photo to change it, and the pencil beside your @username to change your username. See Change your photo and username.
  • Three figures in a row: your posts, your yards and your points.
  • Two tiles: your streak — how many days in a row, with a blue disc for each freeze you have — and your level, with the next one up.
  • How points, streaks and levels work explains them all. See Points, streaks and your figures.
  • Tiles to open Saved — posts you kept from their three-dot menu — Your people — friends who came in through your links, see Bring your friends in — and What you made — everything you posted and every game you made, to edit or delete, see What you made.
  • Add your birthday, if it’s missing. See Add your birthday.
  • The switch for your notifications on this device. See Turn on notifications.
  • Your yards, then Your posts as a grid of tiles. Tap See all for every one.

What you’re into

Near the bottom, What you’re into lists your interests. They steer what reaches you on the Yard.

  1. Scroll to What you’re into.
  2. Tap Add an interest and type it in your own words — a music style, a school, a food.
  3. Tap an interest to change its words, or its × to remove it.

Some interests are ones you typed. Others the Yard works out from what you post and answer. Changing one of those makes it yours; removing it stops the Yard from using it.

Settings

The gear at the top right opens Settings: What you hear about, your location, your photo and username, Hidden posts, blocked users, the theme and typeface, Log out and Delete account. See Log out, or delete your account.
